There are two lounges and a conservatory and the largest lounge, the grand wood panelled family room with its vaulted ceiling and stunning fireplace with woodburner is the focal point of the house. This is where everyone can relax, watch TV , play pool, or traditional board game all in front of a roaring fire. The French doors lead out onto a decked area and the garden where you will find our fabulous 6 person hot tub, a BBQ and picnic tables looking over the loch. This room was once the tennis pavilion and you’ll be delighted with how spacious and comfortable it is.
The second lounge, the drawing room, has large comfortable leather chesterfield sofas, a wood burning stove and stunning loch views. It’s the ideal place to relax or maybe enjoy a family board game or just a good chat.
A separate dining room with woodburning stove, overlooking the loch is perfect for a relaxed breakfast and lunch or a more formal celebratory meal. If the dining room feels a bit too formal enjoy more casual dining over the kitchen table in our spacious dining kitchen. Afterwards why not retire to the comfortable sofas in the adjacent conservatory for a spot of TV or some quiet time soaking in the mountain and sea views. The size of the house means there are plenty of areas to sit and relax for the whole party!
The house has five bedrooms offering very comfortable accommodation. There are bedrooms for every generation, with our ground floor four poster bedroom (double sized bed), a first floor double turret room, first floor king sized room, twin room and single room. All are beautifully furnished and have lovely views. Named after islands from Scotland’s Inner Hebrides all our bedrooms are finished in different harris tweeds to reflect their character and vistas from their windows.
The linen and towels are of the highest quality and the beds are extremely comfortable, all giving a real sense of home from home. The spacious rooms are superbly decorated and offer stunning views of Loch Goil and the sensational mountain scenery of Argyll. You will also enjoy luxury toiletries with compliments of the owners.
If you need to check your emails or stay in touch with news from the outside world then log onto the free Wi-Fi.
