At Rhumhor we LOVE the festive period and all that goes with it. Its our favourite time of the year and we love seeing the grand old lady all dressed up in her Christmas finest! The house is always fully decorated from the last weekend in November until the second weekend in January so you and your group can enjoy a Christmas or New Year party avoiding driving between relatives, having to find a suitable venue for a friendly get together or simply somewhere fabulous to see in the Bells with the guarantee of no taxi queues! Just imagine a time to relax and have fun with your loved ones in a stunning and stylish setting.

The excitement in the air on a winter evening, drinks in front of the crackling logs on one of our 3 wood burners. The mantle filled with holly, ivy and Christmas baubles. The drawing room Christmas tree lights twinkling softly in the bay window arch, with the loch and mountains as its backdrop. A glass of bubbly with the one you love as you watch the gifts being unwrapped or resolutions being made as hope and love fill the air. Head to the large wood panelled family room to play a game of pool, watch a movie or some good old festive TV. Get that swimwear on and head to the hot tub to watch the festive stars above you and wonder what the next year will bring. After over indulging in treats step outside into the crisp fresh air of the Scottish Highlands, taking in breathtakingly snow capped mountains.
Walk hand in hand and dream of Christmas past, present and future and all that the New Year has to bring.
The festivities at Rhumhor do not stop there. You have the whole week in this wonderful house therefore truly giving you the chance to spend precious time together, unwind and explore the most beautiful part of Scotland. There is so much to enjoy on the doorstep: cosy pubs, picture postcard Highland towns, fantastic wildlife and nature at its best. We also offer weekend (Fri to Mon) and mid week (Mon-Fri) breaks in the run upto Christmas so if you prefer to wait for Santa to arrive in your own house you can book a pre or post Christmas and New Year break and still enjoy all that Rhumhor has to offer!
